Role
Graphic Designer
As a student designer at Northeastern University, I worked with fellow designers to create written and designed articles for a local community magazine under Professor José Menéndez López.
Our articles were printed and distributed across campus, allowing us to engage with the community and showcase our design skills in a collaborative environment.

A Community of Confused Designers
This article grew out of conversations with young designers trying to find their voices in an industry that often feels crowded and hard to define. It reflects on how emerging creatives build confidence and direction while navigating trends, expectations, and constant exposure to other work. All written content was authored by me and draws from personal experience and shared challenges within early design careers.

Illustration and Visual Language
The article’s visuals were created using scanned handwritten notes, textbook excerpts, and paper scraps collected during the research and writing process. These materials were digitized and woven into the layout to reflect the unfinished, exploratory nature of the topic. The illustrations add a personal, tactile layer that supports the themes of learning, process, and self-authorship.
